Since the last episode of The Breakdown there has been plenty to digest at the Deva Stadium.
Calum McIntyre’s future as Chester manager was decided last month when it was announced he would be leaving the club at the culmination of this campaign upon the expiry of his contract, while the search for who replaces him started in earnest.
This week’s episode focuses on where Chester are at with that particular search and looks at some of those in the running to become the next incumbent of the Blues hot seat, tasked with leading the club out of the National League North.
We’ll also take a look at the weekend that was, as Chester laboured to a 1-0 home win over 10-men Buxton, a game where new signing Tom Davies gave an impressive performance on his Blues debut.
We also take a brief look at where the club are at with the initial plans for a Fan Zone, something which has been a question that has cropped up on numerous occasions since The Seal was launched.
