Interim Chester manager Connell Rawlinson says that youth will get an opportunity between now and the end of the season.

Saturday was a game of firsts and lasts for the Blues, with the retirement of Kevin Roberts coming after a dramatic late 2-1 win over Darlington at the Deva Stadium, while Rawlinson took charge of the first game of his interim spell as boss following the departure of Calum McIntyre.

There was also a first appearance in the National League North for teenager Lewis Corbett, who was on the pitch for just three minutes when Fin Shrimpton fired home a 98th-minute winner.
