Absolutely pathetic!. The board and management have created a divide within the Fanbase like never before!.
Keeping on managers until the end of the season don't work in the premier league, so god knows why Chester think they can do it. Dragging their heels in appointing a new manager is a friggin disgrace.
As for calling out our fans for booing etc, I'd rather side with Rio for exposing it, he's not really been one showing off excess words when cals been under pressure before, just the opposite, he defends the clubs from what I see in his comments.
Great article as usual Dave though, I don't know how you can sit on the fence in these times!
Looks let’s be honest the loss of a 33yr old defender shouldn’t determine a 5-2 defeat, I’m sorry but Cals handling of players this season is the major cause of loss of confidence and form in some players along with continuing to persist with out of form with his favourite players.
That is one of the major factors to get in a manager that can manage players and not have any favourites.
Once again his substitutes didn’t work out as he had hoped.
Like many of us have just drawn a line under this season and now we need to see an experienced manager installed to give the supporters a boost, otherwise as many have mooted, not renewing season tickets and cancelling BTB direct debts.
What an absolute shameful shambles that was . Bare minimum CM should have at least apologised to the travelling fans in that interview.
Surely one change in defence shouldn't have this outcome. Again why sign a player on loan to have him sit on the bench consistently. Still no striker but hey what's new !
As to what happened at the end between staff and supporters its come from a very reliable sorce . It should definitely be looked into as the club are very quick to put a statement out when its supporters.
Hopefully Dave you can ask the question when contacting the club .
Cal is becoming a parody in himself, with cliche after cliche being part of his post match interview. Needs to grow a pair and leave whilst he has some goodwill left
I think he has rapidly eroded any goodwill he built up, which at one time, not tht long ago, was considerable. Increasing incidences of the staff on the touchline having a go at supporters should be addressed by the board as a matter of emergency, it is creating a toxic atmosphere, which is utterly bizare for a fan owned club.
There was no question that Woodthorpe said it and now there’s no apparent doubt it happened again. I also had a clear view of what happened pre the Worksop incident - inexcusable behaviour followed for sure, but what I witnessed from the club’s perspective has never sat well with me.
Continuing the bristling theme, I was not surprised in the slightest to see no apology from Colin Woodthorpe, but he should have been forced to make one as a condition of keeping his job and it’s not right for it to be left to Dave to fill a void from the Board’s silence.
Dave - thank you for taking this subject on in your report and any frustration from supporters on all this is not supposed to be directed at you.
People are just angry and appalled. This club has been so engrained in values over recent years - some decisive steps need to be taken to safeguard these values as the trajectory away from them is more alarming to me than another ‘surprisingly poor’ performance on the pitch.
It happened last night. It wasn't the coaching staff, it was the club-appointed kit man, who has just arrived, reacting to something, I am told. The last incident saw the person in question reminded of their obligations and expectations, this latest episode has to be given time for reflection and response. The question has been asked to the club. I shall feedback what comes back.

If the kitman has told our fans to fuck off, he should be sacked immediately. As should Colin Woodthorpe if he did it.
Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. Take your medicine as their manager says, suck it up and go and try to improve things.

Agreed
I said after the Alfreton game that he needs to walk away and I think that has become more apparent now
Maybe as far back as the home defeat by Bedford, or the Boxing Day defeat at Telford. So many to choose from! He's not walking though is he.
Needs to be paid up to be fair. The club needs to pay his contract out now
The end of the season can"t come soon enough
Mark Howell’s comments are spot on.

Yet again you haven't addressed the problem of staff telling the fans to fuck off. Are you to sacred to ask the question
