The Debrief: Chester needs this Declan Weeks, and Tom Peers needs a confidence boost after Chorley draw
The Blues were forced to settle for a point in a pulsating 3-3 home draw
Even as I write this now, I’m not quite sure how to unpack it all. A moment you can’t legislate for as a manager ends up settling the game.
Chester’s 3-3 draw at home to Chorley was thoroughly entertaining fare, and that can’t really be denied. It was a game that ebbed and flowed and contained six goals and plenty of decent football, much of it from the Blues.
But it was another case of a game that Chester should’ve gotten more out of but didn’t, and it’s starting to get tiresome, and that was reflected in the frustration of fans come the final whistle at the Deva.
