'Talk is cheap, just win the games' - Calum McIntyre on Chester festive fixture list, South Shields and squad latest
What Calum McIntyre has had to say as the Blues return to action for the first time since December 6
Chester arrive into this weekend having not seen competitive action since the 2-0 win at King’s Lynn Town on December 6.
The victory in Norfolk earlier in the month stretched the Blues’ unbeaten run to seven games in the National League North, with Calum McIntyre’s charges having picked up 12 points from a possible 18, appearing to turn something of a corner when it comes to the form guide to move to within two points of the play-off places.
Heading into a hectic Christmas schedule, where the Blues have home games against title hopefuls South Shields, as well as a trip to AFC Telford United on Boxing Day, before home games against Cheshire neighbours Macclesfield FC and the visit of Worksop Town to the Deva Stadium.
