One set to leave, one transfer listed and two targets missed as Chester plan changes
The Blues are looking to free up funds in order to address squad deficiencies
Chester are still looking to make changes to the squad in the coming days and weeks.
The Blues, who announced hours prior to the weekend defeat at home to Radcliffe that manager Calum McIntyre would be leaving his role at the end of the season upon the culmination of his deal, have 16 games remaining in the National League North and are mindful that some additions must arrive to not only provide impetus for a charge up the table, but also to stave off any concerns about sleepwalking into a battle beneath them.
Chester are looking to address their deficiencies in defence, with Saturday’s makeshift defence consisting of Kevin Roberts, loanee Phil Croker, Michael Kelly and midfielder Fin Shrimpton, with Tom Leak on the bench and Arthur not in the matchday squad.
