Connell Rawlinson on Kidderminster, injuries, targets and Pat Jones' Chester exit
Interim boss speaks to The Seal ahead of trip to Aggborough
For Connell Rawlinson, his start as Chester’s interim boss could not have gone any better.
A 98th-minute winner in his debut game on the touchlines against Darlington at the Deva Stadium seven days ago was followed up with a 97th-minute success at a rain-soaked Merthyr Town on Tuesday, as Chester made it three wins in a row and put themselves level with the play-off places in the National League North.
For Rawlinson, he knows he is minding the shop and that there will be a different manager in the dugout from next season, although the 34-year-old hopes to be involved in the coaching setup at the club in some capacity.
