36 appearances last season, nothing this season. Probably our biggest wage, hasnt kicked a ball. No word of injuries, nothing. Just seems to have been circling like a vulture waiting for yesterday to come. Obviously want him to win all 10 games, but cant help thinking this was his plan all along.

Mark - the question I ask is why was he signed as a player when last season you could see his legs had gone. Not sure it’s him we should be blaming but maybe those who signed him.

Nope, I havent called him a c**t, or a clown. I haven't screamed at him across the road in town, or chased him down a corridor at an away ground. I haven't called his phone at 3am. Etc.

I think you know that though Nathan. It wont be long now until you are on the board, no competition anymore. That is if you pass the owners and directors test after your disgusting past being an edge lord on banter sites (you Nauty Dog), or making anti semitic comments about a Chester FC youth team player, or ticket touting our own fans for play off games.

Best of luck.

Mark.

“Disgusting past”? You make it sound like I’ve head butted a barman!

Is this comment what certain people mean by the toxic fanbase slagging the manager off? 👀

This was always the likely outcome this season. Hopefully this is only till the end of season and really hope it doesn't go beyond that . For me he has been part of the problem obviously couldn't be bothered to keep playing fitness up and supposedly in charge of coaching defence which has been the weakest area this season.

Will give the team total support in the last 10 games but a totally fresh approach is needed next season.

This was the obvious choice to make with assistance from the remaining backroom staff. Everyone needs to come together and give maximum support for the remaining 10 games.

Could this season get any odder. Is Calum out, Connell in at this very moment really the best route to having a crack at maximum points from the last 10 games. The talk is all of maximising this season, but the actions keep screaming anxiety about safeguarding funds for next season.

On a totally separate topic, would you consider an article on the academy pls Dave. We are so proud of the pathway at Chester, but it has bothered me this season how we have no youngsters on the edge of the first team at all. Are any graduates or players out on loan viewed as prospects who will reach the first team?

Is Mikey Alcock still around. Not seen him in a while?
