With less than a week until Chester kick off their National League North campaign for 2026/27, Phil Parkinson is pretty much there with the first starting XI.
The final pre-season outing against League Two side Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, a creditable 0-0 draw where the Blues looked in control for much of the contest, saw Parkinson start with a strong side, opting to make his first changes around the hour mark.
