Chester transfer latest as new addition set for tomorrow, defender and striker targeted, and Emmerson update
The Blues are setting about upgrading their squad to aid their play-off chances

Having fallen to a 1-0 defeat at Scarborough Athletic on Saturday afternoon, Chester manager Calum McIntyre stated in his post-match press conference that he required “urgent help” to address the inadequacies in his side.
A fourth defeat in five for McIntyre’s followed a similar tale of woe, with Chester’s profligacy in front of goal, and their lapses in concentration at the other end, costing them dearly in a game where they had done more than enough performance wise to come away with at least a share of the spoils on a bitterly cold weekend on the Yorkshire coast.
But patience is wearing thin for Blues fans, and falling on the wrong side of fine margins is something they have to address, as they can seldom do it much more if they are to realistically remain in the hunt for a play-off place in the National League North.
