Unbelievable that at 36 we've still depended on him so much this season. So ironic that for the past couple of seasons we have bought in right sided defenders and within a few games he is back in the team. We will miss him.

Sad day that we all knew was coming sooner rather than later.

Whats the point of living anymore?

You don’t see many players careers spanning 20 years with clubs these days, albeit with old and new Chester. Always gives 100% and deserves a decent send off.

Great career for a top professional. Been brilliant for us. Made up for him that he has found a full time job at an EFL club. Thanks Kev.

Really gutted to see Robbo call time on his playing career, been an absolute stalwart for us in both incarnations of the club.

Two goals of his standout, the 30 yard volley at Wrexham in a 2-2 draw for Oldco and the 40 yard piledriver to put us in front in extra time against Oldham in the FA Cup for Newco. Aside from those memories he has been a model professional throughout his time with the club!

I am gutted it’s coming to an end but wish him well in the next stage of his career in football, most likely at one of his former clubs down the A483 at the Cae Ras who recently advertised for numerous physiotherapist roles. I’m sure he’ll do well there and wish him all the best! Good luck Robbo.
